I started painting after taking many painting workshops with the amazing painter and teacher, Peter Fiore. At least half the paintings in this gallery were started or completed at one of his wonderful workshops. I have learned so much from him, and feel that not only have these classes helped me with my painting, but my printmaking too. I’ve learned so much about color, and now have more confidence using multi color plates in my etchings. I’ve lost track of how many classes i’ve taken at this point, but I can tell you how much I look forward to the next one! The camaraderie of working with other painters, from new beginners to very advanced painters, is wonderful and inspirational. As an artist we can often work in very isolated surroundings, especially this last year and half, it feels incredible to be back to working with others!
